What is the dress code?
As it’s August in Tuscany, we’re expecting sunshine and temperatures in the low 30s, so we highly recommend wearing light, breathable fabrics to help you stay comfortable throughout the day and evening.
We kindly ask that female guests avoid wearing white or cream, reserving those colours alone for the bride. Aside from that, we’d love for you to dress to impress for a formal celebration in the Italian sunshine.
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate the guests named on your invitation. If your invitation does not include a plus one, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate an additional guest. Thank you for understanding.
How do I RSVP?
We understand that travelling to Italy won’t be possible for everyone, and we completely appreciate that.
If you already know that you won’t be able to join us, we’d be very grateful if you could RSVP “Decline” as soon as possible. It will really help us with our planning and guest numbers.
Whether you’ll be celebrating with us in Italy or cheering us on from afar, thank you for taking the time to RSVP, whatever your response may be.
Which airport should I fly into?
The nearest airports are Pisa (PSA) and Florence (FLR). From Pisa, the drive to La Mandriola is approximately 45 minutes. Florence is around 1 hour 30 minutes away by car.
Where should I stay?
A limited number of rooms are available at La Mandriola. If you’d like to stay on-site, please indicate your preference in your RSVP and contact the venue directly to arrange a room, as places are expected to fill quickly.
There is also plenty of lovely accommodation in the surrounding area. See our accommodation page for more details.
How do I get to the venue?
The venue is nestled in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. We recommend hiring a car to explore the area during your stay.
Keep in mind that in Italy, they drive on the right-hand side of the road. Roads can often be narrow and winding, so be sure to allow a little extra time for your journey.
If there are enough people interested, we can look into organising an airport pickup bus. Mention it in your RSVP if that would be helpful.
Is there a wedding gift list?
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to contribute, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund on this website. There is no obligation, and we truly appreciate your support.
What if I have a dietary requirement?
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free options are currently available. We’re happy to accommodate dietary requirements wherever possible. Please include any allergies or requirements when submitting your RSVP.
